Every girl, when she moves into Harbor House, receives a free Bible.

We use the New Century Version Student Bible, published by Thomas Nelson.

The NCV translation brings the Bible down to a level where most teens can easily understand it. It gets the girls reading (a necessary first component of study!) who might not understand or want to read a more difficult translation. As the biblical text draws them in, it will hopefully lead to deeper study using a more precise translation (the editors of the NCV also were part of the NASB and NKJV translation teams).
